Forbes 30U30 2021 for Simulate (NUGGS) — the Jay-Z / Alexis Ohanian / McCain-backed plant-based nugget startup that raised $57M+ at a $250M valuation. Ousted as CEO late 2023 in the fake-meat fallout, then pivoted to crypto with Clout.me (rebranded to Believe). Burwick Law's March 2026 class action alleges he "ran the same play three times, under three different token names: generate excitement, bring consumers in, collect fees, and let the token collapse" — $PASTERNAK → $LAUNCHCOIN → forced migration to $BELIEVE with a 33.3% supply inflation framed publicly as "25%" . Then, days after the suit was filed, he was arrested in New York and charged with second-degree strangulation and two counts of third-degree assault over a March 31 incident. He pleaded not guilty and publicly denied the allegations. The criminal case remains pending. In the separate civil action, Pasternak, B24, and Believe Foundation have a July 22, 2026 response deadline. $BELIEVE remains deep below peak.
